From humble beginnings in the Summer of 2003 as a small for-profit “performance fitness” and movement education endeavor, FOCUSfish has matured into a vibrant non-profit organization delivering specialty physical education and aerial arts programming to thousands of school children in the Los Angeles Unified School District and private schools, special needs youth and adults, as well as families and individuals throughout the greater Los Angeles community. By embracing the most progressive, inclusive, and innovative methodologies emerging today, FO- CUSfish has blazed new trails in the physical fitness landscape, in this, one of the most dynamic fitness cultures in the world.
We reject the zero-sum philosophy that requires losers to produce winners. We propose and produce environments in which every- one wins just by doing. We open our arms to anyone who wants to bring their fitness to new heights, and we invite everyone, regardless of the challenges they face, to find out How We See Fit.
